I am 19 years old living in the United states. If I were to send or recieve nude pictures from a 16 year old living in the UK (Where the legal age of consent is 16) Would I be doing something illegal?

You are governed by US law, not by UK law. See your state law to answer whether it is illegal. (the age of consent in FL is 16, but it varies by state).
