Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Tennessee

hi me and my husband signed on a loan with my sister. She had been paying it until this year which i found out last month that she hasnt made a payment since march. I tried to call them back after i found this out and they would not return my phone calls. Then yesterday i receive my second phone call saying i need to come up with 500-1000$ by today in order for them not to turn it over to the courts next week. Is there anything i can do to make my sister pay this loan??

Other than suing your sister seeking some form of contribution from her, there is nothing you can do as to her. Even if you sued her however, you may not be successful as the three of you are equally responsible for the debt.
