Mom had me arrested for a old credit card debt

Mom had me arrested for theft by unauthrized use of 12 credit cards toteling over $50,000. Five years I did have a large credit card debt(around $40,000),me and mom was both on the 3 or 4 accounts(not 12).The cards was paid off and closed 5 years ago by a loan taken out by me,mom & dad,I am still paying on the loan. Dad passed away and now mom wants her name off the loan.Is there not a statue of limitations on claiming someting like this?

The statute of limitations or a class c felony is four years if there was any wrongdoing to begin with. The loan may also have some affect on the matter as well.
