pet damaged property
my pet ran into a car and dented the door. there is a leash law. that was less than a week ago. since then the lady has gotten, police report, estimates and contacted her ins. co. three days later she was at my house threatening my kids that she was going to have warrent taken out on me. she is also trying to get in touch with my land lady. what legal action can she take. can i get her for harrassment or get a restraining order on her? i'm unemployed and own nothing.

She can seek an action for damages against you for the damage caused by your pet. You should seek some kind of payment plan with her to try to pay for the damage. In the agreement, you can stipulate that she won't contact your family or landlord on the condition you continue to pay. Working it out between the 2 of you will save a lot of money by not tacking on court/ attorney fees.
