Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Tennessee

my wife and i had a car repoed for non payment.they took us to court to granish my check/ i made a payment arangments for $100.00 a month and they put a lean on my home for $9800.00.now they are trying sue my wife who is not working for the debt.can they do this even if they got a lean on our home.

Yes, your wife can be sued so long as she also signed the retail installment contract for the car. This is true regardless of whether or not a judgment lien was filed against your home for the judgment entered against you.
