Legal Question in Criminal Law in Tennessee
I'm 17 and was recently convicted for aggravated burgurly and admitted everything to the detective. I would like to know how I can get through this without jail time. Even if military is my only route I will take it.

You have a lot to learn ...
1 - If you have been convicted (found guilty on a court of law) then your question is meaningless. Your sentence is what ever the court imposed.
2 - Just because you have been charged, even is you admitted to the crime, you have not (yet) been convicted.
3 - Jail time is rare for first offenders.
So my response is in three parts:
1 - Grow up and obey the law.
2 - Talk to an experienced criminal defense lawyer when deciding on a course of action for your charges.
3 - "The military" is not a way out of anything. First of all, "the military" won't touch you if you are pending criminal charges, on probation, or under deferred disposition.
Secondly (and when I say this, realize that I am a retired Lieutenant Colonel, United States Army) is: "What makes you think that I want you in my military?"
We want men and women of integrity (honesty) who can be trusted to obey lawful orders, and to take the proper action in the absence of orders. That's called discipline.
Going onto someone elses's home to steal reflects poorly on your integrity and judgment.
