Is there the 50% rule for early release of probation in Tennessee?

No.
There is no such "rule" in the Tennessee Rules of Criminal Procedure.
I have had cases where defendants have done exceptionally well on probation, and about halfway through a long term (say, three out of six years or four out of eight years) asked to be placed on "unsupervised" probation. And the judge will sometimes agree. The defendant is still "on probation" but is relieved of the requirement to report to a probation officer.
