8yrs ago i confessed to harming my child got 9yrs for att agrav child abuse neg did 5yrs in prison if i wanted to have another baby would that state take it even though i did my time and took classes and everything

In short: No.
"Taking your child" is not a matter done lightly, and it cannot be done solely on past actions.
The State of Tennessee handles each situation one by one, and while you may be subject to extra scrutiny by doctors and nurses, etc., your parental rights cannot be terminated solely for something you did in the past.
A more important question is why you want to have another baby, and the assets you have to avoid mistreatment and abuse of that baby.
But that's not a legal question.
