Legal Question in Criminal Law in Tennessee
afraid of the unknown
my friend is in alot of trouble. he was originallly put on house arrest for armed robbery, although the clerk that was robbed told his family that he didn't do it, the DA never gave him the chance to tell the judge that. Now he has a second DUI, a civial rights intimidation assault, and conspiracy against him, is there anything that we can do to save him from having to go to prison? and if not how long would he have to be in there for? any answers would be greatly appreciated. Thank You for your time.

Re: afraid of the unknown
Your friend needs to talk with an attorney as quickly as possible.
He may have valid defenses that might result in all of the charges being dismissed, but this will only come out in detailed discussions with an experience criminal defense attorney.
Advice from a source like this is going to be far too general to be of any reall value in his case, because the details of his case are specifics and not generalities.
