Legal Question in Criminal Law in Tennessee
I was arrested back in March on domestic assault. But everything was dismissed in court. My boyfriend and I only have to pay court cost. I also receive SSI. I was wondering if all of this will affect me if I apply for section 8?

No, not if the case is dismissed.
And when it is dismissed, be sure and go back to the court and have all records expunged.
In Tennessee, a dismissed case will be expunged (wiped off the records) without the clerk's fee.
You don't want even a dismissed case showing up on your records in the event of a criminal history search.
