bail
If you are arrested for an alleged drug crime and you are bailed out by a family member, would you have to go back to jail for the week leading up to your court date? If yes, then why?

You would not have to go back to jail for any reason mentioned in your your question, though there certainly could be plenty of other reasons that might require it.
