Are bars and bartenders liable?
In Tennessee it is very unlikely that a bar or bartender would be liable. The bartender would AT THE VERY LEAST have needed to know that the patron was too intoxicated to drive and was going to drive. That's at the least. The actual answer will depend upon the specific facts of the case. Call if you have any further questions and I can go into it in detail. (Note that the law in Tennessee on this differs from the law in other states.)
