Legal Question in Criminal Law in Tennessee
cash bond
I posted a cash bond for myself 2 1/2 years ago, the court hearing was finally over January 14, 2009. I was found not guilty. I went to pick up my cash bond and was told to give them a day or two to cut the check. Almost three weeks later still no answers about the bond. The question is, how long is a normal time to wait?

Re: cash bond
A day or two should be sufficient, but that doesn't mean the clerk's office is going to send it to you. Make another trip to the clerk's office again, and if there is any problem ask to speak directly to the Clerk of the Court.
