Legal Question in Criminal Law in Tennessee
i was caught shoplifting out of spencers. the item was 79.99. i did give it back and this will end up being my first offense what can i expect to happen when i go before the judge

1 - Hire an attorney. If you cannot afford to hire an attorney, try get an attorney (usually a Public Defender) appointed for you.
2 -If you truly have an otherwise clean record, ask that attorney for information on diversions.
