Legal Question in Criminal Law in Tennessee
I have been charged with an attempted robbery charge around 7 years ago and I am trying to get it expunged. Is there anyway I can get that done?

If you were found not guilty, the case was dismissed, a "no true bill" was found by the grand jury, or the DA dropped the case by declaring "nolle prosequi" then the case can be expunged by simply going to the Clerk of the court and filling out the applicable form. There is no charge for that, but if you owe any court costs, they would have to be paid before the case can be expunged.
If you were convicted of the charge, or of a lesser charge, different rules apply, and you should ask an attorney.
