Legal Question in Criminal Law in Tennessee
If you were charged with a felony of theft and put on diversion, can you still own,posses or apply for a carry permit?

The general rules of probation issued by the Tennessee Boad of Probation and Parole includes a prohibitation against possession of a firearm whil on probation (diversion) supervision. The judge, who fixes the actual terms of probation, can set aside that requirement.
