Legal Question in Criminal Law in Tennessee
I climbed the ladder at the back of Captain Ds and got arrested for criminal tresspassing but the ladder was not locked and I didn't use force to get ontop of the roofso should it be civil or criminal tresspassing and how much trouble could I get into?

why did you climb on the roof of a Captain D's?
Was the restaurant open or closed?
Anyway, your actions are at least a Class C Misdemeanor criminal offense and if you reasonably caused other persons to fear something bad would happen, then it would rise to the level of a Class A Misdemeanor.
