Computer buy
If i buy a computer from someone who bought it from sears on a credit plan and it is not paid off. Can i be held responsible if they default? Or is this a non-secure debt? Does it matter if it is paid off?

Re: Computer buy
If you know the computer is a secured debt, and you buy it with the intent to defraud Sears, you could be an accopmlice to theft. As cheap as computers are now, why chance it. Open the local newspaper want ads and look there. You will probably beat the price offered anyway. For more info, see www.gsmithlawfirm.com
