Legal Question in Criminal Law in Tennessee
I am a convicted felon, for possession of marijuana and attempt to sell. I was convicted sometime around 1980 and released in 1981. I was 18 - 19 years old. I was in prison in Texas. I have been living in Tennessee at least 20 years. I have not been in any trouble of any kind since I was released in Texas. I was just wondering if it would be possible for me to get expunged for that crime now.

If your conviction was in Tennessee, he answer would be: probably yes.
With the usual warning "It depends on the circumstances."
But I won't go into it because a Texas conviction is governed by Texas law.
So you need to contact an attorney in Texas and ask that question.
