Legal Question in Criminal Law in Tennessee
If I'm taken into custody during a raid & released without charges can they be brought up later in Memphis, TN ?
They took a thumb print, my car, tv and also my drug stash (personal use) everything held me at a holding station for 6hrs, told me to call them the next day & snitch on someone or goto jail.

Yes, charges can be sworn later, or the entire case might be presented directly to a grand jury to seek an indictment.
