I have a case that was expunged 5 1/2 years ago that was booked as a simple assault. would this still be on my record and would it still be counted against me even though it was expunged. shelby county, Tn

Not sure what you mean by being "counted against" you. If it has been expunged, it has been erased. There is no court record of it.
