Legal Question in Criminal Law in Tennessee
I have a federal arrest on my criminal record from seven years ago. Can I get a pardon and/r certificate of rehabilitation. I am having trouble passing a background check and have experienced extreme hardships due to being long-term unemployed

A federal arrest?
Or a federal conviction?
An arrest isn't evidence of anything.
What happened to the charge?
If you were acquitted, the charges dismissed, etc. then you can get the record of your arrest expunged from public records.
If you were convicted, there is no automatic expungement. A pardon is possible for any conviction, but that is a long and involved process.
