Legal Question in Criminal Law in Tennessee
felony theft
I am waiting a felony theft court date ,have been for 6 months now an keeps getting put off, what would happen if i just leave and go back to flroida from tennessee.they seem to not want to get nothing done.

If you fail to appear in court as you are scheduled, your bond would be revoked, the judge would issue an Order for your arrest (which would cause any officer stopping you for even a speeding violation to arrest you and hold you for extradition), and your bondsman (or his bounty hunter) would come hunting for you, possibly busting down your door to take you into custody in the middle of the night.
