Legal Question in Criminal Law in Tennessee

Fighting the Law

for a freind. He had a court date for breaking probation,it has been posponed twice. The third time the arresting officer didn't show up, he & his lawyer were there. Should this case be thrown out? From the start.{1}He was on probation to be up in 2 wks.{2}He was stopped for speeding-given a warning & passed the alchol & drug test. {3}Car impounded, left to walk home no phone call. 3 days later called by office from pay phone to go pick up a warrent, went to station & no record. called 3 days later had 24 hrs. to pick up a warrent or go to jail. Warrent has DUI & breaking probation. He wasn't given a sitation for speeding & the alchol test were below legal limit. Is this a case of harrasement?

Re: Fighting the Law

It makes no difference whether the case is one of harassment or not, the charges are filed and are real and your frend now needs to defend against them... and it would be best to have someone experienced in DUI work.

I would be happy to speak with your friend about the specifics of the case.... and the best way to do that is simply to call.
