Then, under the Tennessee Open Records Act, you can obtain copies of the prosecution's file on you. From there, meet with a new attorney and find out your legal remedies, if any.

But don't delay, the clock is running. For example, a Petition for Post-conviction Relief must be filed within one year of the last action in the case.
