Legal Question in Criminal Law in Tennessee
Hi i was in a friends car in an apartment complex when we were approached by cops and they searched the car and we really thought that nothing was in there. well they found a bag of shredded cigar tobacco and charged us 3 with simple possession. how can i beat this because we didnt do anything wrong.

Simple possession of cigar tobacco is not a crime.
Read your warrant and see what you are in fact charged with, including the T.C.A. number.
