Legal Question in Criminal Law in Tennessee
Holding a suspect
Do I have the right to decline to be questioned by the police in a criminal investigation? Meaning, if I am in my home, and the police want to take me to the station to be interrogated, although I have not been arrested, can I decline and just stay in my home?

You can always refuse to answer questions police ask, and you can also always request an attorney, and generally you should do so. For more, see my website at http://jesbeard.com/35.htm
