Legal Question in Criminal Law in Tennessee
Indictment and Grand Jury
I have a serious legal issue before me.
If and when indicted, do they hold a
person until arraignment by a Grand
Jury?

Re: Indictment and Grand Jury
Your question indicates a complete misunderstanding of the process. The Grand Jury does not arraign you. It indicts you.
To get an idea of the process, check the link at http://jesbeard.com/30.htm And talk with an experienced defense attorney BEFORE there is an indictment or the police even attempt to question you. Many times charges can be avoided.
