Filing a false report is a Class A misdemeanore and carries a sentence of up to 11 months and 29 days in jail... but the prosecution first has to CONVICT a person before any sentence happens.
You need to talk with an experienced criminal defense attorney in your area who has an idea what the judge is likely to do to know what is probable on sentencing... and slso to find out if there is much of a chance fo defeat the charge.
