Legal Question in Criminal Law in Tennessee

do i have to be a c.i. for a detective, who is threatning to put me in jail over 6.5 grams of marijuana, and if not, what are the options and/or penalties that i have? i was never read my rights, never charged with anything, and held in handcuffs for an hour while being threatened with incarceration. i am a good guy with an almost spotless record, please help. thank you for your time and consideration in this matter.

No.
Will the officer arrest you if you don't?
Possibly.
He might also arrest you if you do.
You need to contact a local attorney in your county who does a good deal of criminal defense and have him represent you in dealing with the cop regardless which way you want to go.
