Legal Question in Criminal Law in Tennessee
How do I obtain court transcripts from Tennessee.
I was involved with a very political, and sensational criminal court case over 20 years ago in Tennessee. I have tried for almost 2 years to get court transcripts, and have been denied any help. Can someone please tell me the rights I have as a victim, who served as a witness to the state during the trials. (There were 2 preliminary trials, and one final trial...I really want the transcripts from one of the preliminary trials).
Thank you,
nell

Contact the District Attorney where the trial occurred. That person can tell you who the court reporter was and may even have a copy of the transcripts.
