Legal Question in Criminal Law in Tennessee
Rights of Plea Bargain Agreement
Can a person who has agreed to a plea bargain appeal the length of their sentence once everything is final? I have a relative who agreed to a 15 year sentence for manslaughter. Now that he is in prison someone has told him that his sentence was too long because he had no prior felonies on his record. If that is right and what are his options?
