Legal Question in Criminal Law in Tennessee
Seizures
A friend of mine was driving my truck, to make it short, she was arrested for unlawful possession of a fire arm, which was on the back seat, drug paraphanalia, possession of marijauna, & possession of controlled substance ( methamphetamine ). Needless to say, my truck was seized. I paid $850.00 to get it back. Then a few moths later all the charges were droped. What can I do. Thank You

Re: Seizures
There is nothing you can do that will change what happened or which will compensate anyone for what happened.
If you are sufficiently upset I would urge you to contact your state legislators to try to persuade them of the abuses that happen under present law... that's about it.
