Legal Question in Criminal Law in Tennessee
In State Extradition
My husband was conficted of 3 felonies in davidson county and he has an active warrant out of brentwood, williamson county, for 1 misdemeanor. How many days does williamson county have to pick him up? How do we fight it after the time limit has expired?

My understanding is that the warrant will remain good right up to the time he dies. It is not a waiting game where if he hinds long enough he can avoid arrest or prosecution. He needs to turn himslef in.
