Legal Question in Criminal Law in Tennessee

if I am on state probation for a 6 yr sentence and I served 6 months in jail on it and have been out on probation for 4 and a half years without any problems at all the whole time until now. then my probation officer violates me love a dirty drug screen when I go to court over this probation violation what do you think they'll do about it ?

Probation Officers now have authority to work out graduated "sanctions" with probationers who violate probation

for reasons other than commission of a new crime. For example, probation officers can now require that a

defendant with a dirty drug screen go to inpatient or outpatient drug abuse counseling.

So, as is my usual advice for probationers: Start by talking to your probation officer.

And get off the stuff for at least the end of your probation!
