Can I resend the statement given to a police officer so that I do not have to testify

Your question is too vague to address. If you are charged with a crime, you should contact a lawyer. If you are subpoenaed to testify in a proceeding, you need to appear to testify unless you are able to quash the subpoena. If you testimony may get you in trouble, you need a lawyer.
