Legal Question in Criminal Law in Tennessee
What is the statute of limitations in Tennessee for the following crimes: Fraud, tampering with the mail, theft over $1,000, impersonation & theft from the government? My friend's old room-mate was calling in, signing and cashing his unemployment checks while he was in jail. Any idea as to how any charges that might be brought against his room-mate might turn out?

The only offense you have given me enough information to answer is "Theft over $1,000." That is a Class D felony, and has a 4 year statute of limitations.
