Legal Question in Criminal Law in Tennessee
Transcripts
If a person in declared indigent how would he maintain the transcripts of his trial? Does he have to go through his attorney? Also, if a person's family hires an attorney for him and the attorney fails to do his job properly and the guy wants to fire his attorney, does the court still have to appoint him one for following trials because he is considered indigent?

Re: Transcripts
As to the transcripts, the court does that itself. As to appointing a new attorney, that would be up to the judge on a case by case anyalsis.
