can they do that?

can walmart pharmacy call a dtf agent because a person tried to buy a box of sudafed and then the dtf put out an alert to all patrolling units then pull the subjects over and search them

Walmart did nothing wrong in making the call. If law enforcement pulled you over based on that call alone, the officers likely made an illegal stop. If criminal charges resulted from that stop, you likely can have the evidence found in the stop suppressed so it is not considered in your case.
