Legal Question in Criminal Law in Tennessee
Warrant?
I am curious to know how long a warrant can remain issued if never served? I have a failure to appear and this was from 5 years ago. Will it ever go away or will i be arrested one day?

Re: Warrant?
An unserved criminal warrant remains valid forever. Will you one day be arrested? Perhaps. If you want to avoid that, talk to an attorney to possibly arrange turning yourself in with an agreed bond in the case, and perhaps even with an agreed disposition where you know the outcome in advance. If you would like to discuss this possibility, simply give me a call at 423-267-4391
