Legal Question in Criminal Law in Tennessee
Will case be dropped for arson and fraudulent claim if their is no discovery packet presented after 2 years of going to court and the arson dropped down to damage to personal property without even going to trial yet?

There is no provision in Tennessee for automatically dismissing charges due to delay coming to trial or failure of the State to provide discovery. A court might dismiss the indictment if a well pled and proved basis was made by the defendant.
