Legal Question in DUI Law in Tennessee

9 years ago i was visiting in Tennessee and had a Tenessee license was cited for DUI after attending a party, i am now residing here in Flint Michigan and employed as a cook, i need to have my license reinstalled as i need to be able to drive.

Your question is unclear.

You say you were "cited" for DUI. That would be extremely rare. Normally,

a defendant is arrested (put in jail) for DUI.

To be "cited" means you were given a ticket and simply promised to come back

later for trial. Being cited alone does not cost you your driver's license.

In any event, are you saying you were convicted (pled guilty or were found guilty) of DUI?

Or still have not gone to trial on the charge (perhaps because you skipped out to Michigan).

Your exact history is important, and your question cannot be answered on the information you

have presented.
