12\26\05 this truck forces me off road said i was on wrong side so i pull over thinking he needed by it takes thp 15 mins to get there i was drinking my son is iraq two days before brother in law was killed in kentucky and i ve got ruptured disc in neck waiting on drs appt a month away so i cant afford lawyer am just going to plead quilty first offence but terrified btw court in morning 1\27\06

TRY TO TALK TO THE DISTRICT ATTORNEY AND ASK IF HE IS WILLING TO EITHER 1) REDUCE THE CHARGE TO "RECKLESS DRIVING" OR 2) IF HE IS WILLING TO GIVE YOU "PRE-TRIAL DIVERSION" AND PROBATION BECAUSE THIS IS YOUR FIRST DUI CHARGE. IF YOU GET PRE-TRIAL DIVERSION, THEN YOU CAN EXPUNGE YOUR CRIMINAL RECORD AFTER COMPLETION OF PROBATION. BUT IF PLEAD GUILTY, IT WILL STAY ON YOUR CRIMINAL RECORD. 3) YOU COULD ALSO ASK FOR A PUBLIC DEFENDER TO REPRESENT YOU. GOOD LUCK
