Legal Question in Family Law in Tennessee
My 17 and 13 year old step sons do not want to stay with their mother any more because their step father is mean, does drugs,drinks around them and they want to come to live with me and their father can they.

Its hard to say whether they can or they can't at this point without knowing your personal situatiion. However, it certainly sounds like they need to get out of the situation they are in. Becuase of their respective ages, the court will take their wishes into consideration. You will need to obatin counsel to assist you with this as there will likely be numerous issues that you will need to work through under the custody laws of Tennessee.
