abandment
if i am pregnant by my boyfriend at the time i was 6 months he left me and ran off to indiana and he was taking care of me i am 9 months pregnant now. when i have ny child and get a dna test done can i get him for abandment?

Short answer. No. Not really sure what you mean by "get him for abandonment," since "abandonment" is not a criminal offense and would also not give you a basis to file suit against him. "Abandonment" is grounds for divorce, but you two were not married, and even in divorce cases, "abandonment" as it is used in the statute setting out the grounds for divorce also refers to "turning the spouse out of doors," as if he left you in the woods to starve.
