My Name
what do i need to do to change a minor child first and middle name only? i have full custody of the child.the child is 14.

Legally all you need to do is have the child start using the new name.... but that doesn't mean all of the petty beauracrats (school teachers and school administrators and the like) will recognize the new name without a court order. So you might want to get an attorney to file a petition in court to do this... and if you do and the other parent objects, the judge might well refuse to grant the change.
