Re: Child Custody

Your questions is: "What are the chances that a father of a child can take full custody or joint custody of a child when not living in the same city as the mother?" I am sorry but that is really impossible to answer. It all depends on the facts of your individual case. An attorney would need to know more in order to provide any helpful information and even then it will obviously depend upon the judge's discretion when reviewing the facts presented by both sides. After consulting an attorney, you will have a better understanding of your chances in your particular jurisdiction. Best of luck.
