Child Custody when to one parent relocates

If the paetn who has sole custody moves over 100 miles away, what, if any, legal recourse does the the other paent have?

Child Custody when to one parent relocates

Under Tennessee law there is very little the non-custodial can do.In some counties, some of the judges will require the custodial to share the costs of transportation (though I do not believe Tennessee's appellate courts would allow this if it were appealed.Some judges will also adjust the visitation schedule, and if the move is shown to be for spite, then a judge can change custody.... but the bottom line is that little will be done in Tennessee.
