Re: child custody

When you filed a petition with Juvenile Court and got temporary custody, you almost certainly at the same time asked the court to award you permanent custody, though the only thing the court has decided so far is the issue of temporary custody. Simply contact the court to have the rest of your petition heard, the portion of it asking for permanent custody. That hearing will have to be set far enough in advance to give the mother adequate notice, but you should be able to have it heard on the petition you have already filed.
