Legal Question in Family Law in Tennessee

Does a child have the right to prove biological father even if Legal father is e

My daughter is 17 and knows that her legal father may not be her biological father. She would like to know before she marries and has children. Does she have a right to ask both male parties to do DNA to establish her biological roots. Can we do anything legally? She does not want any money etc, Legal father has accepted that responsibility. Just wants to know who her real father is for medical history etc.

Re: Does a child have the right to prove biological father even if Legal father

If her legal father cooperates with the DNA test and there are only two possible dads, once he is tested there is likely to be little need to do anything further. The tests should either show he is or is not the biological dad.

Try it the easy way without requiring any legal help first.
